Filter replacement RX-Series and EX-Series
To ensure optimal operation of your heat pump, it is important to clean the air filter regularly.
How often this needs to be done depends on the amount of dust in the ventilation air and can differ from home to home. You should choose the cleaning interval that best suits your heat pump. By default, the filter alarm is set to 90 days.
Filter replacement
- Turn off the power to the heat pump by turning off the main switch.
- Remove the front from the heat pump by lifting it from the hooks that hold it in place.
- Remove the top right filter cover by unscrewing the black screws.
- Remove the old filter from the heat pump.
- Replace it with the new filter.
- Replace the filter cover and tighten the screws securely.
- Replace the front panel, insert the bottom of the front into the hooks and then over the hooks.
- Turn on the main switch to start the heat pump again.
Remember to replace the filter at least once a year, even if it appears clean, as dirt accumulates and can affect the unit's performance.
